 Billy Cantrell
Mayor
Political Career:
Mr. Cantrell was elected to the Eton Council in 2002. During his first term, he also served on the Murray County Planning Commission.
In a Special Election on July 15, 2008, Mr. Cantrell was elected as Eton Mayor. As Mayor, Mr. Cantrell realizes that an opportunity exists to make a difference in the way Eton develops. He aspires to prove that life in Eton, with the support of his local constituents, can be better than it has ever been.
Family:
Mr. Cantrell has two children, an 18 year old daughter and a 14 year old son.
Career:
Mr. Cantrell has 26 years experience in the textile market. He is currently the COO of Centaur Marketing Group.
He is the new owner of Hogan’s Tire and Lube in Eton and is affiliated with Reneco.
Education:
Mr. Cantrell graduated from Murray County High School and received his Associate in Business Administration from Dalton State College.
Hobbies:
In his spare time, Mr. Cantrell enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and softball.
